✨CONFIDENCE ✨ . What does it actually mean? . For me, it means walking into a room or situation without thinking twice about how I look or even caring about how others may perceive or judge me. Being confident to me means I am fearless and empowered to be myself unapologetically. . Whilst I know there is a lot of work that I can do internally in order to feel validated and confident...but GOD DAMN hair and makeup does amazing things for my confidence. Makeup gives me that push and transforms me into the person I truly want to be, in all areas of my life. It turns me into the woman who speaks without worrying. It empowers me to be woman who can walk with her shoulders back and stand tall with a feeling of belonging in a sea of other beautiful women. It encourages to have the assertiveness to make connections with other women who maybe, I would never have had the confidence to approach normally. Makeup might just look like a bit of fun to some people or a bit far fetched.
